The WLM configuration tool requires the Application Key Id and Application Key. Where do these come from?
When configuring WLM, it is essential to input the Application Key Id and Application Key. These details represent the Key Identifier and Key of an application key that was generated within the SurePassID Authentication Server (SPAS).
Key Identifier and Key are unique identifiers that are essential for secure communication between WLM and SPAS. For example, in SurePassID's Windows Logon Manager (WLM), the Application Key and Key ID fields are saved within the registry to ensure secure communication with MFA servers.
The SPAS Key Name is used as a descriptive label for the application key but does not play a role in the authentication process.
In SPAS, you can create Application Keys by navigating to the Home ->Account menu within the portal.
